Sex trafficking is still an issue. Due to the work and movements such as ENDITMOVEMENT and International Justice Mission the word is getting out and people are moving, but I still need your support! This May I am running my second half marathon for the organization As Our Own. For those of you who know me, I ran this race last year and the Lord worked in marvelous ways! Hebrews 12:1
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.”
Last year during the race I really struggled with apprehension about not being able to run 13.1 miles with my lack of training, but the Lord strengthened me and even on mile 9 I felt good, fully knowing that all of my strength is not my own, but I am fully reliant upon the Lord for endurance in everything!
So this year my heart is full of elation to run this race for these daughters of the Most High God. So please consider supporting me in this, all of the funds given are used to support the organization As Our Own in their fighting to eradicate slavery and to love and protect these girls from the bondage they once felt. Once these girls are rescued they are given the opportunity to go to college, hear the gospel, have a home and be physically free as well as spiritually free from the slavery of sin (Romans 6:17) all for the sake of His name and renown!
